Mission Funds Request If you are a missionary, church plant, or an external missions organization, you are welcome to apply for First Baptist Church Bellville Missions Funds. Submitting an application does not guarantee funding but allows our Missions Committee and staff to review your request. To apply, please complete the Funds Request forms below.The First Baptist Church Bellville Missions Fund supports efforts that share the gospel of Jesus through: 1. Breaking New Ground: Reaching unreached or underserved communities. 2. Planting Seeds: Sowing the gospel to encourage spiritual growth and discipleship. Key Criteria: 1. Gospel Integration: Materials, websites, and mission statements must clearly reflect Christ centered values. In areas hostile to the gospel, an internal values document is required. 2. Mission Alignment: Activities must directly support the gospel and not hinder it. 3. Authenticity: Christ must be central to the mission, not secondary or incidental. Sharing the Gospel Defined: Sharing the gospel involves communicating it by any means necessary, to individuals or groups in accordance with scripture. (The First Baptist Church Bellville Missions Fund supports gospel-centered initiatives only) Reporting Requirements: 1. Quarterly Progress Report (an emailed report detailing the use of ongoing funds toward the missions efforts) 2. Detailed Financial Report (an emailed itemized report of the use of funds) 3. Summary of Event (an emailed testimony detailing the mission's outcomes and use of funds must be submitted to the Missions Committee following the mission's completion.) *Please note* that approval of this funding request does not guarantee future funding. Eligibility and Review Process: The First Baptist Church Missions Committee and appropriate staff will review this request to determine eligibility. Requests may be presented virtually or in person at the committee's discretion. After review, the committee will decide whether to award financial support. If approved, then the Bellville Mission Fund Agreement form must be completed before funds can be distributed.
