Children's Ministry
Awana at First Bellville
Belong. Believe. Become.
Awana is a fun, Christ-centered discipleship program for children ages 3 through 5th grade. Each Wednesday, kids enjoy exciting games, engaging Bible lessons, Scripture memory, and small-group handbook time as they grow in their faith and build lasting friendships.
When: Wednesdays, 6:00–7:30 PM
Season: September 2nd – April 28th
Children are placed in age-appropriate clubs:
- Cubbies (Ages 3–5)
- Sparks (Kindergarten–2nd Grade)
- Truth & Training (T&T) (3rd–5th Grade)
Our mission is to help children know, love, and follow Jesus while partnering with families to build a strong biblical foundation.

Nursery
Our nursery area is The Garden, where it all begins! The Garden is where seeds of faith are planted through love and patience as we come alongside parents to nurture the beginning of their path that leads to the discovery of Jesus Christ. The Garden is for ages birth to 3 years.
Adventure Kids
Adventure Kids is our children's area. Adventures in God's Word, where children discover who Jesus is. Where we come alongside parents to explore biblical truths, gain biblical knowledge, and help establish a biblical worldview. Adventure Kids is ages 4 -5th grade.
Our children's ministry offers the following:
- Sunday School 9:30am-10:30am Ages 2-5th grade
- Kids Worship(Sunday) 9:45am-11:45am Ages K-3rd grade
- Awana 6:00pm-7:30pm Ages 3 - 5th grade (Wednesday Sept.-April)
- VBS Ages 4-5th grade 9:00am-12:00pm (First full week of June)
- Summer Praise & Play Ages 3-5th grade 6:00pm-7:00pm (Wednesday second week of June-first week of Aug.)
- Preteen Camp (overnight summer camp completed 3-5 grade)
